What is the best way to do keyword research? The biggest problem is that it takes way to long to do it correctly. Luckily, after today, you will be able to do it faster & better than you have ever done before. The tools we will cover will show you the way!

Wordtracker (www.wordtracker.com) and AdWord Accelerator (www.wordtracker.com) are good at giving you analysis on finding the most competitive keywords in your marketplace. It will give you bid price estimates, search volume, and help you single out the best performing ads. Adword Analyzer (www.adwordanalyzer.com) and Keyword Analyzer (www.keywordanalyzer.com) are other complimentary tools that will help you with other aspects of PPC Management.

But once you find words from these tools, it is really only a starting point. It wont be a full list of words people use when searching for what youre promoting. Use some of these ideas to help you find hidden gems that will really help your PPC Campaign.

Synonyms are a terrific source of keyword ideas. Dont just guess at them, put the keyword into MS Word & right click. From there click Thesaurus and it will give you ideas. One tip is to not just take the top few words listed. Dig deeper and pick the words that are 5th & 6th on the list.

Brand names of products can be a terrific source of effective adwords for you, but be careful & watch out if you bid on brand names. Google has been in trouble for allowing people who dont own a copyright on something to be able to bid on it for Adwords. Just make sure that what you are bidding on is relevant to the product you are selling. If you are going to go down that path, make sure you dont have that word in the ad itself. It is a sure-fire way to get in trouble with both Google and the owner of that product.

The most overlooked area of keywords is the misspellings of them. Not only are they cheaper than the correct spellings, but they often have a higher click-through percentage than the correct spelling! If misspellings are not a part of your regular keyword strategy, then they should be.

With these new ways to make your keyword research complete, you should be able to save a lot of money and be more effective!!! Good luck!!
