The term prosperity may seem similar to wealth but it is not. It also includes other aspects such happiness and health, which might be reliant on money or wealth to a certain aspect. If you are conversant in any of the main religions of the world, you might be surprised to find out that religions advocate positive thinking as well. They have been doing so for ages, some to deaf ears. The main difference between self-help books like The Secret and religious books is in the presentation.
Due to some religious leaders having a tendency to preach and reading straight from the book or whatsoever, many people do not seem to realize that religions do advice on positive thinking for the very same reasons as so-called self-help books. A dictionary defines religion as a way of life. In fact, religion does teach us how to live our lives.
When you think about something, your brain cells use certain energy. This energy is transmitted into the universe. Alternatively, you can call it as vibration. The universe receives the message and performs action based on that message. Therefore, if you think about something positive, the universe receives a positive message.
The universe starts to work based on your thoughts. That is the true meaning behind the words, power of thoughts. Of course, if you keep thinking that you have become a billionaire, it might be too far fetched. If you are undergoing some sort of financial crisis, then, be thankful for what you have.
Your mind is at war when it comes to such thing. Your mind might think that you do not have money. So, why are you thinking that you have money? Hence, find another suitable alternative. For example, you can think that you are rich because you have food on your table. There are people who eat sand to survive.
By being thankful for what you have and thanking the universe for the abundance that you have received, you create positive energy. The universe receives this message and interprets it positively. So, it creates ways for you to receive more abundance or wealth. Do not expect to strike a billion dollars by practising positive thinking.
Being thankful for what you have creates a positive vibration that is sent out to the universe. Therefore, the universe starts to create more prosperity for you. Now, you would understand why the religions of the world advocate faith, hope and gratitude for what we have in our lives.
So, if you are feeling burdened by financial problems or any other related problem, start thinking positively in whatever you are doing. Be happy and positive.
