King Charles III

King Charles III was born at Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948. He is the oldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip. His mother, Queen Elizabeth II became the queen at just 25 years old after the passing of her father, King George VI, who was 56 when he passed. This made then-Prince Charles the heir apparent at the age of three. On September 8, 2022, his mother died and Charles became the king.

Before getting married to Princess Diana, he met \Camilla Parker Bowles, who he is married to now. He met Camilla, who is now queen consort for the first time during a polo match in 1970. When King Charles left to serve in the Royal Navy, she was engaged to someone else upon his return.

In 1980, King Charles started dating Lady Diana Spencer. At the time, he was 31 years old while she was 18. They got married on July 29, 1981. They had two sons, Prince Harry and Prince William. Prince William was born in 1982 and Prince Harry was born in 1984. William, prince of Wales, is first in line for the throne.

In 2005, Camila and King Charles announced that they were engaged and the two married in April of that year. She received the title of the Duchess of Cornwall before she became queen consort when Charles became king in 2022. His two children William and Harry are both married, and he has five grandchildren. Prince William is married to Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, and the pair have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Prince Harry is married to Meghan Markle and they have two children, Archie and Lilibet.
