I am a producer on The New York Times podcast, “The Daily.”
What I Cover
I work with newsroom reporters to adapt their written stories for audio. I also compose music for the show. I have produced episodes on all kinds of topics, but I am especially interested in stories about business, law, technology and climate change. My favorite episodes tell the story of one person facing extraordinary circumstances — like a man accused of murder after the overdose of his best friend, or a Russian draftee attempting to escape his country rather than go to war.
My Background
I have worked for The Times since 2022. Before that, I produced news and technology podcasts for Vox.
I grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in English. I now live in Brooklyn.
Journalistic Ethics
Like all Times journalists, I abide by the standards of integrity outlined in our Ethical Journalism Handbook, which means I do not accept money or favors from anyone who might figure in the stories I cover. And I do not make political donations. I make every effort to understand issues from multiple angles and represent them fairly and accurately. I am proud to work for an organization that is not beholden to special interests, advertisers or powerful individuals.
